🔁 How alternating operators work on the Charlotte Amalie → Road Town route

Native Son (NS), Road Town Fast Ferry (RTFF), and Smith's Ferry Service (SFS) share the Charlotte Amalie to Road Town route. They alternate operating days, but all published departure times remain the same regardless of which company is running.

When you arrive at the Blyden Terminal, you will be told which operator is running that day. For this reason, we recommend purchasing one-way tickets rather than round-trips — it avoids being locked into a specific operator for your return journey.

All three operators can be booked online or purchased at the terminal. When completing your BVI eDeclare form, use the abbreviation of whichever operator is running your day: NS, RTFF, or SFS.
